Maternity

About This Work

Maternity is a profound meditation on creation, presence, and the inexplicable force of nurture. Carved from rose marble and standing at 2.6 meters, this commissioned work for the City of Aley represents a pinnacle of the artist's spiritual exploration. The sculpture is a study of form and presence—how space itself can hold emotion, memory, and the echo of life itself.

The work holds light, shadow, and silence in equal measure, creating a dialogue between the ethereal and the tangible. Every curve and plane has been crafted to capture the essence of creation without representation—moving beyond the literal into the realm of the felt. As viewers approach, they become part of the work's meditation, experiencing a moment of profound connection to something larger than themselves.
